Welcome Teachers!
Imagination Stage has numerous resources and programs for professional development and for in-school arts education for students. They include Imagination Quest, Theatre Field Trips and Study Guides:
1. Imagination Quest (IQ) brings arts-based teaching and learning into the classroom and across the curriculum, working within schools to inspire academic achievement through discovery learning. IQ uses the multisensory aspects of the arts, the body, voice, mind, and imagination, to enhance student achievement and foster creative and social skills. It is comprised of three initiatives: Teach to Reach (professional development for teachers), Learning to Read, Reading to Learn (for students), and Partners for Learning (for parents/caregivers).
Over the past 15 years, IQ has reached over 2,666 teachers, 495 parents and caregivers, 4,504 students directly through residencies, another 20,000 indirectly through sharings and other school-wide activities, and 86 school principals from MD, DC, CA, VA, NJ, RI, FL, and NH.
